RE: Affordable Private Coaching

I hear it daily. 

"I just wish I could sit down and ask you a few questions..."

"I wish you could coach me as I go along..."

"I wish there was an affordable way to access your knowledge and expertise ...I know I could turn the corner and make improvements to my voice."

"Could you listen to my song and tell me what I could do to make it better?"

I get these messages all the time.

And it's heart-breaking because I know I could help them, but there just isn't enough of me to go around.

I simply cannot answer all the questions people send to me.

Here's why -

Even if the question is "Do you think this is a good performance?" and all I did was type in "yes or no" (which is NOT the length of response you'd be looking for) there simply isn't enough time to read and respond to number of singers I hear from every day, nor is it a good idea for me to farm it out to some unqualified staffer.

Do the math:

If it just took ONE MINUTE to read and respond to an email or a video of a performance, it would take me almost 17 hours to answer questions from the tens of thousands of subscribers on my list.

And that's nothing but "yes or no" answers.

If I spent FIVE MINUTES on each and typed a short paragraph response, it would take over  80 HOURS per week just to provide personalize answers.

I just can't do it.

The type of questions that I am talking about are, "here's my song, what do I do to get to that high note?" or "what do you think of this microphone and amplifier for me?" or "Do you think this is a good name for my next album or should it be something else?

I'm talking about specific questions for specific people. I just can't answer them.

But I can't just leave it there...

I have thought long and hard about this.

We realize not everyone is in the position to invest in one of my premium coaching programs (my Platinum Program starts at $3228/year) ...especially when they are first starting out.

While it is impossible for me to personally interact with the thousands of singers on my list, quite a few have suggested that I offer some kind of affordable one-on-one coaching for a limited number of people.

After considering it, I've decided to make just 10 spots available.

Before I tell you the cost, let me tell you what the personal coaching includes ...

1) Two private, 30 minute Zoom consulting/coaching calls with once a month.

Yep, we'll hop on the Zoom and discuss, decide, brainstorm, map out, plan, or troubleshoot your biggest priorities or challenges once a month. You'll leave each call with a plan of action of what to do, who should do it, and by when. We will record the call and can even share screens during the session so we're both on the same page...literally.

2) Direct access to your teacher on Marco Polo for virtually unlimited coaching 

Marco Polo is a free walkie-talkie type video message app.  You shoot a "Polo" message and send it to me. You could be performing a song, an exercise, a monologue for an upcoming audition...whatever you want. It's a great tool, free, and you can even upload a video from a gig, self-tape audition to the app for me to see. I send you a personalized response. You can also send videos and audios another way but we've found MP to be just amazing and simple. 

2) My private email address direct to your teacher.

When you join the Inner Circle Coaching Program, you'll be issued a private email address where you and your teacher will communicate on a personal, one-on-one level.

3) Answers to your questions.

You may ask your teacher ONE question per day by email or send one Marco Polo (Monday-Thursday ... I don't do weekends :-)

Your teacher will respond within 24 business hours (for my time zone, Pacific US). I'll login to your private email box or the Marco Polo app and answer your question or provide coaching.

This is the highest level of one-one-on personal consultation that you'll find!

Ask me anything about vocal technique, repertoire selection, story telling, and business of being a singer...

• "Given my background, do you think this is a good song for me?"

• "Based on this performance, what can I do next to take it to the next level?"
  

• How much should I charge for this gig?"

• "How can I improve my website?"

• "Can you review my self-tape audition?"

• "Which of these options would you recommend for me?"

• "How can I get more people to my gigs?"

Any question related to voice, music, acting, marketing, business, or personal development is permitted.

Yes, that includes booking more gigs, social media, sales, list-building, traffic generation, etc.

If you want to ask my opinion about an idea, seek a recommendation for improvement, clear up something you are
unclear about, get a suggestion for your best option, and/or just ask a question to help you make the best choice ... I'm here for you.

Performance Classes

You'll be invited to 1 performance classes every quarter while you're a member. Performance class gives you "stage time" in front of a small student audience (3 + your teacher max) and supportive feedback in a safe, small-group online class.  You'll perform your song, work out nervous habits, gain confidence, get some coaching, and perform again.  You'll learn as much by watching others perform, as you do performing yourself.

Performance Parties

Performing is one of those skills that you have to do in an environment that's as close to the real thing as possible to get better at it.  You'll be invited to perform at one of our studio events every quarter. Performances allow you to put everything you’re learning together. Share it with friends and family. Optional but highly recommended.

Song Kits

Each month you'll get a ‘Song Kits’ including the sheet music, an example tracks to learn from, an accompaniment track to practicer and perform with for the song of your choice. (though we can't guarantee every song ever has been had the sheet music published or tracks made for it)

Invitations to Special Trainings & Events

As long as you're a member you'll be invited to special trainings and events. I often invite experts, other teachers, and those who are doing it right to deliver even more value to you. These online events and trainings can help expand your skill set even more than what's already included.
